ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Freshman Jamie Juhnevicz (Taylors, S.C.) has earned the South Atlantic Conference/WePlayed Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week award for her performance in the Trojans' two sweeps the week of Sept. 29. Juhnevicz came up with 38 digs and averaged 6.33 digs/set last week. She had zero reception errors and added 10 assists.  

In Anderson's 3-0 win at Mars Hill Juhnevicz came up with 20 digs to tie her career-high of 6.66 digs/set and six assists.

On Friday night, the libero had 18 digs with three assists as the Trojans handed Carson-Newman just their third loss of the season. 

Juhnevicz currently ranks seventh in the SAC for digs/set with 4.27. 

The Trojans are back in action tomorrow, Oct. 7th when they host Newberry College at 7 p.m.
