ANDERSON, S.C. -- Juan Pablo Lepervanche (Caracas, Venezuela) of men's soccer and Olivia Pellerin (Greenville, S.C.) of women's golf have been selected as Anderson University's Jimmy John's Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 13.
Lepervanche scored the game winning goal in AU's 2-1 win at Coker, securing his spot as league-leader in game-winners with four. Lepervanche now sits 2nd in the SAC in total points with 11.
Pellerin earned her first individual tournament win at the 12th Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial. Shooting 68-68-70 to finish 10-under, Pellerin carded the 4th-best 54-hole score to defeat the No .1 player in the country.
Each week, student-athletes are honored for his or her performance in competition, classroom or community, being named the Jimmy John's Athlete of the Week.
