Men's Soccer Prepares for Regular Season Finale at Coker

ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University men's soccer team will be looking to bounce back on Wednesday (Nov. 3) as they travel to Hartsville, S.C. to take on the Coker University Cobras.

Anderson is coming off a heartbreaking 3-2 loss in double overtime on Saturday (Oct. 30) to Lincoln Memorial, which marked their first defeat in the month of October. The Trojans will enter the match with a 10-3-2 record, with a chance to clinch a top-four seed in the South Atlantic Conference tournament.

Coker enters Wednesday with a 10-5-1 overall record, and a 5-5 clip in the conference. The Cobras are coming off a 2-0 loss at home to Queens and will be looking for a bounce back win against the Trojans as they look to clinch a spot in the upcoming SAC tournament.

This match will feature two of the top goal scorers in the conference with Alexandre Cox-Ashwood (13) and Jacques Fokam-Sandeu (12), which ranks second and third in the SAC, respectively. For the Cobras, goalkeeper Jasper Rump is third in the league with 53 saves.

Anderson leads the series history against Coker 14-8, including a 2-1 win in the last matchup which took place in the 2019 SAC Semifinals.

The Trojans will be back in action on Wednesday (Nov. 3) as they travel to Hartsville, S.C. to take on the Cobras. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 P.M. with video and live stats available at www.autrojans.com.
