ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson University women's tennis team ended the 2015-16 season with a loss to nonconference opponent Limestone on Wednesday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

Anderson finished the year with a 10-12 overall while Limestone improves to 11-5 overall.

Limestone took early control of the match winning all three doubles matches before winning four of the six singles duals to set the final score at 7-2.

In the singles portion, senior Alexandra Ebner defeated Hannah Hopkins in three sets earning her 12th singles victory this season. As a Trojan, Ebner holds an all-time singles record of 34-32 while recording an all-time 40-36 overall record in doubles play. Earning the second point on the day, Ivey Welborn won 7-6 (5), 6-1 over Alexandra Boulbin to win her third singles match in a row and 10th of the year.
