Badraun, Bitterman Named USILA Preseason All-Americans

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released their Preseason All-American teams on Saturday, naming Trojan seniors Radyn Badraun (Mission Viejo, Calif.) and Ryan Bitterman (Alpharetta, Ga.) to the Second and Third-Teams respectively.

Last season, the duo led Anderson to their highest ever national ranking, finishing the regular season at No. 7. The two contributed the most goals and points on the team, with Bitterman totaling 63 goals for 77 points and Badraun notching 58 goals for 76 points. Together, they scored five game-winning goals and 18 man-up goals.

Following the historic season, Badraun was named First-Team All-Conference, SAC All-Tournament Team, USILA All-South Region First-Team, USA Lacrosse All-American Second-Team and USILA All-American Second-Team. Bitterman was named Second-Team All-SAC, USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention, USILA All-South Region Team and USILA All-American Honorable Mention.

The Trojans look to build off last year's momentum as they enter Year 6 as a program next Saturday (Feb. 7) hosting North Greenville at 11 AM. The matchup will be a Top-20 showdown as the USILA named AU No. 8 and NGU No. 17 in the national Preseason Poll last week.
