LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The United States intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released the 2026 Men's Coaches Division II Preseason Poll on Thursday, selecting the Trojans as No. 8 in the country to open the season.
The Trojans finished 8th on the board in the final poll last season, after going 13-5 overall and 9-1 in conference play. Last year, Anderson was slated at No. 20 in the Preseason Poll, before climbing the list to a program-best No. 7 ranking by the end of the regular season.
Reigning National Champions Adelphi earned the top spot on the list, followed by No. 2 Tampa, who the Trojans will host for the final non-con of the season on March 7.
Fellow SAC rivals, Wingate and Lenoir-Rhyne, open the season just ahead of AU at No. 5 and No 7. respectively. Anderson hosts the Bulldogs on March 18 before traveling to the Bears on April 11.
Also making the poll and on Anderson's schedule are No. 13 Newberry and No. 17 North Greenville. The Trojans host the Wolves on April 1, while the Trailblazers make the short trip to Anderson next week, Feb. 7, for the Black and Gold's season opener.
