ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson men's lacrosse stalwart, 2025 Team Captain Chase Robertson joins the Trojan coaching staff as Assistant Coach, the University's Athletic Department announced on Wednesday.
"Excited to have Chase join the staff," said Head Coach Albert Mitchell. "He's one of the smartest players I've ever coached and has been a tremendous leader for us the last four years. He is an incredible addition to the staff!"
A native of Roanoke, Va. the LSM started every game of his Trojan tenure, amassing a total of 68 to earn the record for most career starts by any player to wear the Black and Gold.
Robertson led the team as captain for his senior season and was named to the All-South Atlantic Conference Third-Team. He contributed 13 caused turnovers and 39 groundballs in his senior campaign, totaling 59 CTOs and 153 GBs over his career.
The veteran finished his career with three of the Top-10 single-season CTO counts for the Trojans, landing third-most all-time in program history with his four-year total of 59. His 153 career GBs lands fourth-most in the record books, taking the top spot behind three FOGOs.
Robertson joins Albert Mitchell, Matt Ledon and Mike McCallan as the Trojans enter their sixth season.
