FARMINGTON, Pa.--The Anderson Men's Golf Team closed out the fall season in Pennsylvania this week. The Trojans traveled to Findlay's home tournament, the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin, and earned a 5th-place team finish among nine teams. 

"Proud of the guys for fighting this week," said Head Men's Golf Coach Daniel Coker. "We competed with a lot of teams in conditions that we are not used to. One of the toughest tests of golf I've seen, and we battled hard." 

Leading the way for Anderson was junior Can Gurdenli (Istanbul, Turkey) who boasted an impressive 3rd-place individual finish in his first tournament of the season. Gurdenli finished even on the tournament, shooting 74-70-72—216. 

"Congrats to Can on his great playing and finishing Top-3!" added Coker. "We are excited for the spring and what's to come."
