ROCK HILL, S.C.--The South Atlantic Conference announced Men's Golf season awards on Friday afternoon and named Trojan junior Sam McMillan (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) and freshman Hugh Faulkner (Greenville, S.C.) to the All-Conference Third-Team. 

McMillan was a constant in the Trojan lineup this season, earning a 72.9 adjusted scoring average through 27 rounds. He claimed three Top-10 finishes—2nd of 90 at Oldfield Classic, 7th of 96 at Savannah Lakes Invite and 9th of 84 at Currahee Invite.  

Faulkner was also a stalwart for the Black and Gold, averaging a 73.3 score through 27 rounds. In his debut season, he boasted four Top-20 finishes—4th of 81 at Mizuno Intercollegiate, 14th of 104 at Greenwood Invite, 16th of 84 at Currahee Invite and 18th of 96 at Ralph Hargett Memorial. In just his 2nd collegiate event (Mizuno 9/15-16), he secured a Top-5 finish. 

The pair look to lead the Trojans next week at the South Atlantic Conference Championships in Greenville, S.C. The tournament will consist of 54 holes of stroke play, with 36 on Sunday (April 19) followed by 18 on Monday (April 20). The Top 4 teams will then advance to match play on Monday (April 21).
