NEW ORLEANS – Both Anderson's men and women's track and field teams earned All-Academic Team status as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday. This recognition marks the seventh year in a row earning this accolade for both teams.
To be named an NCAA Division II All-Academic Team, teams must have a cumulative GPA—not semester, not 2023-24—in which all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List is at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
In addition, junior Lacey Boozer (Simpsonville, S.C.) was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete, an honor she received for earning a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, completing at least 24 semester hours and achieving a provisional qualifying mark for either the indoor or outdoor season.
