NEW ORLEANS—The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honorees on Thursday, naming eight Trojans to the All-Southeast Region list.
For the men's team, Trojan juniors Tyler Farris (Dacula, Ga.) and Lambdin Hardy (Commerce, Ga.) earned All-Region selection for their performances in the decathlon and pole vault, respectively. Farris finished third at the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships, earning a personal best score of 5904 points. Hardy broke his school record, clearing the 4.65m bar to win the pole vault competition at SAC Championships.
On the women's side, AU placed three Trojans on the All-Region list for pole vault—Avery Marshall (York, S.C.), Rylie Jenkins (Loranger, La.) and Kirsten Leonard (Hoover, Ala.). Marshall holds the school record, clearing the 3.79m bar at the Electric City Invite, followed by Jenkins' 3.62m jump at the App State open and Leonard's 3.35m jump at SWU Gotta Run Invite.
The Black and Gold also earned All-Region selections for sprints, mid-distance and distance, with Lacey Boozer's (Simpsonville, S.C.) 54.97 400m race and Emma Whitaker's (Inman, S.C.) 2:12 200m race at SAC Championships, along with Kennedy Roush's (Greenville, S.C.) 36:00 10,000m race at Raleigh Relays.
