CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Using a balanced attack, the Anderson
volleyball team snapped a four-match losing skid with a convincing
3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-17) win past Queens in Conference Carolinas
volleyball action Saturday afternoon at the Ovens Athletics Center.
"We really played well today," said Anderson head coach Craig
Mosqueta. "Our ball-handling was very good for the second day in a
row." Anderson (7-6, 2-2 Conference Carolinas) was led by junior
Jamie Lancaster's 12 kills, while freshman Shelby Netherton
continued her strong play with six kills. Junior setter Lindsay
Doggett handed out a match-high 26 assists and added 10 digs with
sophomore Katie Rich recording 11 digs on the afternoon. Anderson
gets back on the court Friday, Sept. 25, when the Trojans play host
to Coker College. First-serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the
Abney Athletic Center.
