ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Trojans took care of business against Emory & Henry University (3-18, 0-12 SAC) on Friday night in a sweep by scores of 25-8, 25-12 and 25-12. Anderson moves to 14-5 overall and 9-2 in the South Atlantic Conference with the win.
"Good win tonight and it was nice to see everyone contribute," head coach
Todd Hay said. "Our focus will now shift to Newberry on Tuesday and continuing to improve our overall play. We need to be playing our best volleyball in November."
The Trojans put up 40 kills on a .330 clip with five blocks, five aces and 41 digs.

Symone Wyatt (Simpsonville, S.C.) led the way with seven kills in two sets.

Kaydan Flowers (Statesville, N.C.) followed her up with a career-high six kills on a .271 hitting percentage through two sets.
Junior
Karley Black (Leander, Texas) had a season-high six kills with one block.

Mikaylah Hedlund (Fountain Inn, S.C.) and sophomore
Maura Kindel (Easley, S.C.) had five kills each while Kindel had a team-high three blocks.

Ellie Nieporte (Boca Raton, Fla.) and sophomore
Mia Bennett (Boiling Springs, S.C.) split sets with 22 and 12 assists, respectively.
Freshman
Jamie Juhnevicz (Taylors, S.C.) led the defense with 11 digs.
The Trojans have a three-game week next week beginning when they head to Newberry College on Tuesday, Oct. 28th for the two teams' second meeting of the season. Anderson got a 3-0 win in early October.
