Goldman Announced as Assistant Coach

ANDERSON, S.C.--The Anderson University Athletic Department and Head Men and Women's Tennis Coach Joey Eskridge announced the hiring of 2026 program alum, Hampton Goldman, as the newest addition of the Trojan staff, taking over the role of Assistant Coach.

"Hampton Goldman is going to be a great addition to our Coaching staff here at AU," said Eskridge. "He has been a player for us the past four years and has been a great example of what a student athlete should look like here at AU. He is extremely professional and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He has been an extremely hard worker for us as a player, and I know that his work ethic will carry over from the court as well as the classroom to his coaching position with us."

"Although he is young, we are extremely lucky to have someone like Hampton joining our staff. Hampton has all the traits to make him not only a great coach but a great Christian leader for our program which is what I was looking for in this hire. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Epting and Dr. Whitaker for allowing me to have someone like Hampton working for us. The future is bright for Anderson Athletics, and today the tennis program just got better and brighter."

A four-year player for AU, Goldman graduated this past spring with a degree in Marketing.
