SALISBURY, N.C.--The Black and Gold traveled to Catawba College on Friday afternoon for the final match of the regular season, dropping a 4-1 decision to the Catawba Indians. 

Despite two courts going to tiebreak, Anderson fell short of the doubles point, with Catawba picking up wins at Courts 1 and 3. 

Moving into singles play, Sky Thavornchaisophon (Bangkok, Thailand) picked up a point for AU with a dominant performance, winning Court 6 with two 6-0 sets. 

The host team won straight-sets of their own, however, on Courts 3, 4 and 5 to claim the win. 

The Trojans now await seeding for the South Atlantic Conference Championships, with the quarterfinal matches happening this Thursday (April 16) at 9 AM at the Palmetto Tennis Complex in Sumter, S.C.
