HARTSVILLE, S.C.--The Trojans (8-7, 0-4) traveled to Coker (7-5, 1-3) on Wednesday to resume South Atlantic Conference play, but despite winning the doubles point, Anderson dropped a 4-2 decision to the Cobras. 

AU took the doubles point, winning at Courts 1 and 2, but the 1-0 advantage was not enough for the final score to favor the Black and Gold.  

The Cobras claimed straight sets on Courts 3, 5 and 6 in singles play, while Vicent Fenollar (Alicante, Spain) took two-straight from his opponent for a Trojan point. 

Despite rallying back from dropping Set 1 to winning Set 2, Sky Thavornchaisophon (Bangkok, Thailand) was ultimately outlasted by his Cobra opponent in the third. Coker clinched the 4-2 win.  

Anderson is still looking for their first league win of the season after falling short to Coker, who picked up their first league win with the victory. 

The Trojans are back at home this weekend for back-to-back days of SAC play, hosting Mars Hill on Saturday (March 21) and Wingate on Sunday (March 22). The matches are scheduled for 11 AM and 2 PM respectively.
