MONROE, N.C.--Anderson's Men's Golf traveled to Wingate's Ralph Hargett Memorial this week and finished 6th of 17 teams in the field. The Trojans shot 291-293-290—874(+10) to land behind Wingate's A and B squads, Emmanuel, Catawba and Erskine. AU finished ahead of SAC opponents Lenoir-Rhyne, Carson-Newman, Coker, Tusculum and Newberry. 

Freshman Hugh Faulkner (Greenville, S.C.) and junior Can Gürdenli (Istanbul, Turkey) finished tied for 18th individually, shooting +1 through 54 holes. The score marks Faulkner's fourth Top-20 finish so far in his debut collegiate campaign. 

Junior Sam McMillan (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) followed, landing 26th overall after finishing +3. Freshman Caden Olsommer (Anderson, S.C.) rounded out the scoring for the Black and Gold, shooting +5 to finish 37th. 

AU concludes regular season play next week (March 23-24) at Lincoln Memorial's Tennessee River Rumble before the South Atlantic Conference Championships in Greenville, S.C. April 19-21.
