Box Score
HARROGATE, TENN. – Anderson men's tennis (8-4, 1-2 SAC) suffered their second loss of their conference schedule on Saturday afternoon against the 22nd-ranked Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters (12-1, 1-0 SAC) by a 4-0 score.
LMU got on the board first in doubles by taking a tight point. AU's No. 2 team of Mathis Collignon and Sky Thavornchaisophon scored a solid 6-2 win in their match, but the Railsplitters notched victories at the other two positions.
In singles, the Trojans fought hard but Lincoln Memorial was just too much. Junior Hampton Goldman returned to the singles lineup after a two-match absence, but was defeated at the No. 6 spot. When LMU had clinched the match with a trio of wins, Wynn Shioi, Vicent Mico, and Sky Thavornchaisophon were all locked in third-set battles, but those matches went unfinished.
