ROCK HILL, S.C. – Three Anderson University women's soccer players, junior Lauren Monday, sophomore Ansley Douty and senior Carly Keuffer earned postseason South Atlantic Conference Honors, as announced by the league Thursday afternoon.

Anderson (10-4-2, 6-3-1 SAC), finished third after regular season play and recently hosted sixth-seeded Carson-Newman for a SAC quarterfinal matchup, claiming a 2-0 shutout victory over the Eagles. Anderson returns to the SAC Semifinals to face-off with No. 7 Wingate, hosted by Sportsplex at Matthews (Matthews, N.C.) on Friday, Nov. 14.

Monday was named to the All-SAC First Team after a powerful junior season. The local native from Anderson, S.C. started in all 16 games of the campaign. Monday scored two game winning goals and recorded one assist for the season. Her defensive performance helped contribute to seven eight sheet victories for the Black and Gold.

In Douty's second season with the Trojans, her stellar season earned her a spot on the All-SAC Second Team. The native of Mount Pleasant, S.C. started in all 16 games of the campaign. Douty finished the regular season second in the league with seven goals and five assists, tallying 19 points on the pitch.

Keuffer earned a spot on the All-SAC Second Team to round out her final campaign as a Trojan. The native from Mason, Ohio started in all 16 games of the season, playing in all 14 minutes of the season. She recorded one assist in a conference matchup against Lincoln-Memorial on Oct. 25.
