Aliyah Morgan (Fort Myers, Fla.) has been named the South Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 29.
Morgan continued to be a cornerstone of the Trojans' defense, tallying 11 saves in a 1-0 shutout over SAC opponent Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday, (Oct. 1) and four saves against nationally ranked Catawba on Saturday (Oct. 4). Anderson's clean sheet against the Bears marked morgans fourth career shutout.
The Black and Gold are back in action on Saturday Oct. 11 when they host Wingate for a conference matchup. This match will be Anderson's Breast Cancer Awareness Game.
