COLUMBIA, S.C. – Anderson men's tennis (7-7, 2-6 SAC) dropped its Wednesday afternoon match by a 5-2 score to Limestone (6-7, 3-5 SAC), before bouncing back on Thursday. The Trojans shut out Columbia College (6-9, 1-7 Appalachian Athletic Conference) by a 7-0 final. Thursday's victory marked AU's first road win of the spring.

On Wednesday, the two teams played singles first. The Saints took five of the six matches, with freshman Vicent Mico scoring a win at the No. 1 position. In doubles, the Trojans rose to the occasion to add the final point of the dual. Mathis Collignon and Sky Thavornchaisophon cruised to a 6-2 win at No. 3, and Mico paired with Patrick Cronin for a 7-6(5) victory on court two.

The next day, the Trojans and Koalas played doubles matches first. AU quickly raced to a sweep of all three matches without dropping a game. 

In singles, the Black and Gold continued their dominance of the match, winning all six matches in rapid succession. Freshman Poojith Reddy notched his second singles win of the season, 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 6 position.

The Trojans aim to extend a two-match home winning streak on Wednesday, April 3rd against Newberry. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Trojan Tennis Complex.
