ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Anderson's men's golf team opened their spring season on Monday, competing in the LMU Spring Kick-Off at St. Johns Gold and Country Club in St. Augustine, Fla. 

The Trojans wrapped up the first of two 18-hole rounds early afternoon, recording a team score of 292(+4) for a 7th-place spot on the scoreboard. 

Freshman Sam McMillan (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) led AU shooting a 71(-1) in round one, followed by senior Daniel Coker (Hartsville, S.C.) and fifth-year Jamie Markwick (Bishop's Waltham, England) who each carded a 73(+1) to open the day. Junior Simon Wright (Lancaster, S.C.) recorded a 75(+3) round one, while freshman Luke Sullivan (Columbia, S.C.) shot for 80(+8). 

Wright led round two for the Trojans, carding a 72(E), followed by Markwick 76(+4), McMillan 79(+7), Sullivan 80(+8) and Coker 83(+11). AU totaled for 307(+19) to conclude day one sitting 14th. 

The final round of the tournmanet begins tomorrow morning (Feb. 13) at 8:00. Live results will be posted here.
