HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
The Trojans took an early lead in the bottom of the second when Hernandez's lead-off line drive to centerfield was misplayed and he ended up on second base. Two batters later he moved to third when Brayden Owens bounced out to second and crossed the plate when Wells singled back up the middle.

The Wasps evened the score with a solo run in the top of the third and scored what proved to be the winning run with two outs in the top of the fourth.

Game 2
Errors proved costly to the Black and Gold in the nightcap, with E&H plating three unearned runs in the third and fourth innings, while building a four-run cushion with a solo run in the sixth.

The Trojans got their first hit when Andress led off the sixth with a double, moved to thirds on a wild pitch and crossed the plate when Jordan Montgomery bounced out to the right side.

AU knotted the score with three unearned runs in the bottom of the eighth, with LeGrand's two-out double to right-center bringing home two of the runs.

But the Wasps responded with three runs in the ninth to regain the lead and the Trojans pulled within two, but were unable to get any closer.
