Owens, Harrison, Mauro Earn End of Year Conference Awards

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The South Atlantic Conference has announced their major award and All-Conference teams with three members of the Anderson University baseball team finding their way onto those teams. 

Braeden Harrison (Spartanburg, S.C.) made his way onto the Second-Team at his outfield position after posting a .348 batting average on the season with 62 hits, 14 double, four triples and 15 home runs on the season. He was able to tally 60 RBIs in mostly the lead-off spot in the batting order.

Kaleb Owens (Easley, S.C.) was the lone member of the Trojans pitching staff to make his way as a Third-Team honoree. He posted a 4.60 ERA on the season with a 5-2 record on the year. He pitched 72.1 innings of the mound for the Trojans tossing 62 strikeouts on the season.

Brooks Mauro (Clemson, S.C.) was the only Trojan to make their way onto the All-Defensive team at his shortstop position after a fantastic season in the field. With 207 total chances on the year, he was able to record 74 putouts, 130 assists and only 3 errors for an overall fielding percentage of .986.
