BREVARD, N.C. - The Anderson men's tennis team outpaced South Atlantic Conference opponent Brevard, 6-3, for its second consecutive win Friday afternoon at the McCoy Tennis Complex.

Anderson moved to 7-5 overall and 7-1 in the league, while Brevard fell to 2-10 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

AU's Krystof Gulbinovic and Paul Calhoun defeated Brevard's George Finch and Rory Northam, 8-6, at the No. 2 doubles' flight, while Daniel Gonzalez and Inaki Iriberry topped Richie Liell and Stefano Giovanolli, 8-1, at No. 3, to give the Trojans a 2-1 edge heading into singles' action.

The Tornados won the first two singles' flights, but Anderson notched wins in the final four flights to earn the team victory.

Loic Ambroise posted his fifth consecutive singles' win by topping Giovanolli, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 4 and Iriberry recorded his ninth straight win on the singles' side with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Brevard's Richie Liell.

The Trojans open a two-match homestand on Wednesday by playing host to Wingate. First-serve is slated for 2 p.m. at the Max Grubbs Memorial Courts.
