LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Anderson University seniors
Carson Hobbs (Nicholson, Ga.) and
Lauren Brakovec (Farragut, Tenn) have earned NFCA All-Southeast Region honors for the 2026 season.
Hobbs was named to the Southeast All-Region First Team (DP) after an incredible season with the Trojans. The Nicholson native boasted a .413 batting avg in 52 games after going 69-for-167 at bat with 40 runs, 69 RBI, 26 doubles, two triples and seven homers. She led all three NCAA Divisions with 20 doubles during the season while also earning SAC Player of the Week and Player of the Year honors. In the circle, Hobbs posted a 3.44 season ERA including nine games with a perfect 0.00 ERA. She also tallied 82 strikeouts, 3 putouts and 49 assists.
Brakovec earned All-Southeast Region Second Team (1B) honors after an outstanding season both offensively and in the field. The Farragut native went 54-for-147 at bat for a .367 batting average on the season while also recording 27 runs, 44 RBI, seven doubles, once triple and eight homers. At first base, she tallied 327 putouts and three assists with just two errors for a .994 fielding percentage. During the season, Brakovec was named the NFCA National Player of the Week and SAC Player of the week for her performance against conference opponent Lincoln Memorial.
