ANDERSON, S.C. -- Caleb McAbee (St. John's, Fla.) of men's basketball and Ellie Wilkins (Chuluota, Fla.) of women's lacrosse have been selected as Anderson University's Jimmy John's Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 26. 

McAbee combined for 20 points, seven rebounds and two steals in Anderson's two-win week at Wingate and at Mars Hill. He was perfect from the line and behind the arc against the Bulldogs, shooting a season-best 4-4 three-pointers. 

Wilkins led the Trojans with five goals in AU's season opener against UAH. She has nine goals from 15 shots so far this season. 

Each week, student-athletes are honored for his or her performance in competition, classroom or community, being named the Jimmy John's Athlete of the Week.
