Trojans Jump Back into the Nation’s Top 5

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Anderson University Men's Basketball enters the week at No. 5 in the national poll as released by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Tuesday for games through Jan. 25.
 
With 17 victories and just one loss on the season, the Black & Gold continue to rewrite the history books. The Trojans are 17-1 overall and 11-1 in the conference after an upset to conference opponent UVA-Wise on the road.
 
Anderson recently topped conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne, 102-96, in a top-15 matchup to secure their 16th victory before defeating Emory & Henry at home, 61-54, for their second matchup of the season.
 
In the national poll, Anderson sits behind No. 1 Washburn, No. 2 Nova Southeastern, No. 3 Cal State East Bay and No. 4 Daemen. The Trojans are joined in the Top-25 by fellow conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne who is tabbed for 21st. UVA-Wise also earned votes in the national poll.
