KANSAS CITY, MO. – Junior Osmar Garcia-Araujo (Sugar Hill, Ga.) and junior AJ Wright Jr. (Clearwater, Fla.) from the Anderson Men's Basketball program have been named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List as released by Small College Basketball on Thursday.

The Clarence "Bevo" Fancis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. Only one player within Small College Basketball is honored per season. 
 
Garcia-Araujo and Aj Wright Jr. helped lead the undefeated Trojans to a 15-0 record for the best start in program history. Anderson is 15-0 overall and 8-0 in South Atlantic Conference play.
 
Garcia-Araujo has anchored the Black and Gold defensively with 15 steals and 12 blocks while averaging 6.7 rebounds per game for a total of 101. Garcia-Araujo is second in the nation shooting 68.9% from the floor and is second on the team averaging 16.1 points per game, tallying 241 on the season with 41 total assists across the 15 games.
 
Wright Jr. is tied for 7th in the nation and leads the Trojans with 6.1 assists per game and sits 12th in total assists, recording a total of 86 on the season. Tied for 16th in the nation, he also leads the team with 2.64 steals per game for a total of 37 to place the junior guard tied for 18th in the nation.
 
The Black and Gold seek to add another victory to their historical start when they travel to UVA Wise on Saturday, Jan. 17. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. and the contest can be viewed here.
