ANDERSON, S.C. – The women's volleyball program has been selected to finish third in the 2025 South Atlantic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, while juniors Emily Campbell (Statesville, N.C.), Ellie Nieporte (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Ava Reeves (Lexington, S.C.) earned preseason honors.

"We are looking forward to the season and what promises to be a strong conference schedule," head coach Todd Hay said. "Congratulations to our Trojans who earned preseason honors."

The Trojans finished third overall last season and made a run to the semifinals in the SAC Championships with an overall record of 19-11 and a conference record of 13-5. Anderson's season concluded at the NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament Quarterfinals.

Campbell and Nieporte were named to the Preseason All-Conference team while Reeves was named a Player to Watch. 

All three Trojans earned postseason honors last season with Nieporte and Reeves being named to Second Team All-SAC while Campbell was named to Third Team All-SAC. Reeves and Nieporte were later named AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans.

The Trojans open the 2025 season at the Jet's Pizza FSC Volleyball Classic hosted by Florida Southern College on Sept. 5-6. They will take on Hillsdale and Florida Southern on Friday and Saint Leo on Saturday.
