Box Score HARROGATE, Tenn. - No. 6 seed Anderson (28-23) fell to No. 3 seed Lincoln Memorial (31-16), 4-0, on Saturday in the opening round of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex.
Lincoln Memorial's Halle Grace Patton (22-7) tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits. The Railsplitters backed her with nine hits and played error-free defense.
Lincoln Memorial jumped ahead with two runs in the bottom of the first inning and added two more in the fifth. Hannah McMeen led the offense, finishing 2-for-3 with two RBI while Jordann Reagan and Nicole Couvertie each added an RBI.
Anderson recorded just three singles (Davis, Brakovec and Barrick), leaving three runners on base. Starter
