Katie Morris (Valley, Ala.) of the softball team,
Emma Toole (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) of the women's lacrosse team and
AJ Wright Jr. (Tampa, Fla.) of the men's basketball team have been selected Anderson University's Jimmy John's Athletes of the Week for the week of February 17th.
Morris pitched the Trojans to two shutout wins last week, throwing seven innings with four strikeouts and just three hits in their 6-0 win over UNC Pembroke and allowing just four hits and striking out 12 in seven innings in their 5-0 win over Lees McRae.
Toole was named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week in the Trojans' 15-11 win over UVA Wise. She came up with a career-high six draw controls, two ground balls and one caused turnover along with a career-high three goals and one assist.
Wright Jr. was big for the Trojans in their two-win week, coming up with 21 points, a career-high 12 rebounds and seven assists in the double-overtime 108-97 win over Wingate and 13 points and five assists in the 79-74 senior day win over Emory & Henry.
