LEXINGTON, Ky. – Three Trojans have earned AVCA All- Southeast Region honors for their performance in the 2025 season. Junior Ellie Nieporte (Boca Raton, Fla.) earned a spot on the First Team for the second-straight season. Sophomore Mia Elder (Leland, N.C.) and junior Emily Campbell (Statesville, N.C.) both earned Honorable Mention honors.
Nieporte is third in the South Atlantic Conference after the conference tournament averaging 9.95 assists per set with a total of 995 assists this season. She averaged a conference-best 11.07 assists per set in SAC play. Earlier this season she hit the career milestone of 2,000 assists. Nieporte was named to the First Team All-Conference at the end of the regular season.
Elder ranks in the top five in two statistical categories in the SAC. The sophomore has the fourth-highest kills per set average with 3.26. She has 300 total kills on the season, the third-most in the conference. She has the eight-best hitting percentage in the conference with a .299.
Campbell had the third-most blocks in the conference this season with 91. She averaged 0.90 blocks per set. On offense, the junior came up with 258 kills and a team-high .322 clip, the sixth-best in the SAC.
The Trojans are back in action tomorrow, Dec. 4 in the NCAA Southeast Regional Quarterfinals when they take on No. 6 Augusta at 11 a.m.
