GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Four members of the Anderson University volleyball team have been named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators. Junior Sophie Deese (Hickory, N.C.), sophomore Maura Kindel (Easley, S.C.), junior Ava Reeves (Lexington, S.C.) and sophomore Mia Elder (Leland, N.C.) were honored by the CSC for their academic and athletic efforts. 

Deese, a Nursing major, finished the semester with a 4.00 cumulative GPA. This was Deese's second straight season earning the award.

Kindel also has a cumulative GPA of 4.00 through three semesters of the Mechanical Engineering program.

Reeves, a Kinesiology major, finished the fall with a 3.79 cumulative GPA. This was Reeves' second straight season earning the award.

Elder, a Psychology major, has a 3.66 GPA through the fall.
