Elliot Dotson (Simpsonville, S.C.) of men's cross country and sophomore
Kennedy Roush (Greer, S.C.) of women's cross country have been selected as Anderson University's Jimmy John's Athletes for the week of Oct. 6.
Dotson delivered a standout performance at the UAH Chargers Invitational, finishing second overall out of 271 runners with a time of 24:14.0 on the 8K course. He led the Trojans to a first-place team finish in a 26-team field, helping Anderson earn another statement victory in one of the region's deepest races. The Black and Gold defeated the No. 5, No. 22 and No. 26 ranked teams in the country.
Roush finished eighth out of 246 runners at the UAH Chargers Invitational. She led AU to a fifth-place team finish out of 26 teams. Her time of 21:37.0 was a new personal best time for the 6K. Roush now sits at No. 2 all-time in Trojan history, just one second away from the school record.

The Black and Gold are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 25 when they travel to Greeneville, S.C. for the South Atlantic Conference Championships.
