NEW ORLEANS – Anderson's women's cross country team earned the fifth-place vote in the Southeast Region preseason rankings, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this week. 

The Trojans sit behind fellow South Atlantic Conference foes Wingate, Catawba and Lenoir-Rhyne in the regional lineup. 

AU opens their season next week at the Southern Showcase in Alabama on Sept. 13.
