ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Senior Carlos Hernandez (Maracay, Venezuela) was the lone member of the Anderson University baseball team to appear on the South Atlantic Conference's baseball All-Conference team as he was named to the Second-Team as announced by the league on Thursday, May 2.
The main catcher for the Black and Gold in his final season led the Trojans with a .362 batting average while boasting 12 extra-base hits and was the fifth hardest batter to strikeout in the league this season, only fanning on 13 plate appearances. From behind the plate, Hernandez was able to throw out 11 runners on the season recording 164 putouts and 21 assists to just six errors.
