Anderson Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

ANDERSON, S.C. – After finishing the 2024 campaign at an even-keeled .500 on the year, head coach PJ Zocchi and the Anderson University baseball team are reloaded for the 2025 season, announcing their schedule on Monday, December 23.

The Trojans kick off the year with a home non-conference series with the Wasps of Emory & Henry before welcoming in the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan for a mid-week matchup at Anderson Memorial Stadium. Anderson wastes no time before they head into conference action as just the third weekend in February has them traveling to Salisbury, N.C. to take on Catawba in their first league action of the year.

Two midweek road trips to Emmanuel (Ga.) and Southern Wesleyan sandwich around the Trojans first home conference series as they welcome in Mars Hill for a three-game slate. Davis & Elkins make their first trip to Anderson on March 1-2 for a non-conference weekend series before the Trojans travel to Orangeburg, S.C. for a midweek doubleheader with Claflin on March 4.

Road conference weekends at UVA Wise and Tusculum sandwich around a pair of midweek games with Emmanuel at home at Claflin on the road, pushing the schedule to the middle of march. A Tuesday night non-conference showdown with Limestone is next up on the docket for the Trojans, a match that will take place under the lights of Fluor Field at the West End, home to the 2023 SAL Champion Greenville Drive.

After that matchup, the Trojans hold down the home fort for the next two weekends with trips from Carson-Newman and Wingate to Memorial Stadium. The Black and Gold head to Dahlonega, Ga. for a non-conference matchup with North Georgia before continuing a four-game road trip with a conference series at Lincoln Memorial. The next five games for the Trojans come back to home turf with non-conference matchups against Limestone and Southern Wesleyan book-ending a conference series with Coker.

Finally, a trip to Newberry for the penultimate conference series of the year followed by a midweek excursion to Augusta, Ga. set the Trojans up to close out the regular season with a home series against Lenoir-Rhyne.
