ROCK HILL, S.C. -- For his efforts on the opening week of the 2026 campaign for Anderson University, junior
Braeden Harrison (Spartanburg, S.C.) was named the SAC/WePlayed Baseball Player of the Week for the second week of action in the 2026 season for the league.
Harrison helped the Trojans to a 6-0 start by going 13-of-19 at the plate and hitting .684 with a .759 on base percentage. In the six wins, he scored nine runs, hit two home runs and drove in a staggering 17 runs. He walked six times and stole a pair of bases. He had four multi-hit games, including three with 3+ hits.
The Trojans return to action today as they welcome in the Jaguars of Augusta Univeristy to Anderson Memorial Stadium for a non-conference matchup at 4:00 p.m.
