Game #1
Lincoln-Memorial 8, Anderson 2
In the opening game, Lincoln-Memorial jumped out to an early 2-0

the following inning with a Meg Ryan double that brought home
teammate Ashley Knight.

offense exploded for four runs. With RBI-singles by McGinnis and
Bridget Eicher, the home team was able to put the game out of
reach.
Emily Monteith homered in the seventh inning, but the senior's
blast would come too late, as the Trojans dropped the first
game.
Casey Deer started the game for the Trojans and gave a
complete-game effort. She gave up six earned runs off of 12
hits.

The teams traded runs in the final inning, but that wouldn't
matter as the Railsplitters were able to take the nightcap.
Deer (14-14) and Alex Waldroup each tossed three innings as they
