ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Anderson University Athletics Department has announced that Trojan fans will be admitted free of charge to all home men's and women's basketball games during the 2009-10 season. "Everyone is looking to stretch their budget and get the most out of their entertainment dollar these days," said Director of Athletics Nancy Simpson."And this is our way of helping to ease the financial burden for our fans in the community." The Anderson women's basketball team opens its home slate by playing host to USC Aiken on Wednesday, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 at the Abney Center. The men's team opens its home schedule with a 4 p.m. contest on Saturday when Lander visits the Abney Center.
