The native of Gainesville, Ga. put together one of the most impressive careers in Anderson history. A fierce competitor from 2003-2007, she made 123 career starts and played in 130 games.

Deidra helped lead the Trojans to one of the best 4-year stretches and one of the best seasons in Black and Gold history, with the team earning a program record 33-3 overall record and 19-1 conference slate in 2004-2005. The Trojans won the CVAC regular season title, the CVAC Tournament Title and earned a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16.

In total the Trojans were 109-23 overall and 68-12 in conference play, winning two CVAC Regular season titles, three CVAC Tournament Titles and four trips to the NCAA Tournament.

Deidra finished her career as an All-American, Two-time All-Region selection, Four-time All-CVAC honoree, Four-time CVAC All-Tournament selection, CVAC Player of the Year, CVAC Athlete of the Year and she was named to the All-Time CVAC Women’s Basketball Team.

Deidra’s name can be found all over the Anderson career record books where she is currently top-10 in 15 different categories. She still holds top honors in field goals made (777), free throws made (556), free throws attempted (733) and offensive rebounds (395), ranking second in scoring (2,114), steals (238) and games started (123). Deidra also recorded a noteworthy 24 career double-doubles.

Following her career, she helped the Trojans to yet another Conference Title and trip to the NCAA Tournament as a graduate assistant for the 2007-08 season. Deidra can now be found roaming the sidelines at Powdersville Middle School, as she enters her 5th season as the Girls Basketball Head Coach.

Deidra graduated with a Bachelor ’s degree in Physical Education (K- 1 2 ) .
