Anderson University

Daniel, a native of Saluda, S.C., earned All-America basketball honors at Anderson College and led the Trojans to the National Junior College Athletic Association National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

After two years at AC, Daniel transferred to Furman University, where he was an All-Southern Conference selection as a junior and a senior.

He helped lead the Paladins to the 1978 SoCon title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Daniel was selected in the fourth round of the 1979 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs and is a member of the Furman Athletic Hall of Fame.
