MILLEDGEVILLE, GA – Anderson University Women's Soccer (4-2, 2-0 SAC) concludes its road series with an 0-2 setback against nonconference opponent Georgia College (3-2, 1-0 PBC) Wednesday evening.
The first 13 minutes of the opening half saw no action on either side with the score knotted at 0-0. The Bobcats broke away in the 13th minute to open the scoring with a shot from deep that found the back of the net. Gorgia capped the scoring late in the contest after s shot to the right corner found the back of the net in the 50th minute.
Anderson remained silent for the final half and were unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities. The Black and Gold took eight shots with four on goal while Anderson's defense faced 20 shots by the Bobcats with just eight on target. Senior goalkeeper
Aliyah Morgan (Fort Myers, Fla.) battled all 90 minutes between the posts, grabbing two saves and allowing two goals for a .500 save percentage.

Ashton Douty (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) led the Trojans offensively with two shots, including one on target. Senior
Whitley Anderson (Eatonton, Ga.) also tallied two shots on the evening.
Despite the loss, Anderson returns home on Saturday for another South Atlantic Conference matchup against the Carson-Newman Eagles. The contest is set to begin at 5 p.m. at Spero Financial Field.
