ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The South Atlantic Conference has announced the winners of the SAC/WePlayed Sports Player of the Week for week three of the football season and Anderson University's Wilson Edwards was named Offensive Player of the Week.

Edwards, a redshirt junior from St. John's, Fla., led a Trojan offense that scored 39 points in a 39-21 win over UVA Wise on Saturday afternoon. Edwards completed 24 of 37 passes for 308 yards and four touchdowns and added 49 rushing yards on 10 attempts.
