Anderson University Becomes First NCAA Division II Institution to Launch “Own The Moment” Marketplace with WePlayed Sports

– Anderson University Athletics and WePlayed Sports today announced the launch of Own The Moment, a new digital collectibles marketplace that transforms athletic highlights and historic moments into collectible digital experiences for fans, alumni, and supporters.

With the launch, Anderson becomes the first NCAA Division II institution to activate the Own The Moment platform, further positioning the Trojans as an innovator in the rapidly evolving college athletics landscape.

Powered by WePlayed's AI-driven content platform, Own The Moment automatically transforms highlights from athletic contests into collectible digital moments available directly through an Anderson-branded marketplace. The platform will feature both current-season highlights and Legacy Moments, giving fans access to some of the most memorable plays, performances, and achievements in Anderson Athletics history.

As athletic departments continue to explore new ways to engage supporters and generate revenue, Own The Moment creates a new opportunity for fans to connect with the teams, student-athletes, and moments they care about most while directly supporting the future of Anderson Athletics.
