ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University's Cross Country program announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season on Tuesday. The campaign features four races before the South Atlantic Conference XC Championships in Wingate, N.C. on Nov. 7.

Kevin Eagle. "This schedule gives us the opportunity to ease into the season, while also gaining valuable experience that will be crucial towards the end of the year."
After rewriting the record books during the 2025 season with the men's team finishing eighth at the NCAA Cross Country National Championships and an individual bid from the women's side, the Trojans begin competition close to home at the Converse Classic in Spartanburg, S.C. on Sept. 17.
The Black and Gold then take the short drive to Mill Spring, N.C. where they will race in the Tryon Western NC XC Showcase, hosted by Tryon International on Sept. 25. The Trojans are on the road in October when they travel to the Lewis Crossover in Romeoville, Ill. On Oct. 10, followed by the UAH Chargers Invitational in Huntsville, Ala. on Oct. 24. Anderson returns home for the South Atlantic Conference XC Championships hosted by Wingate on Nov. 7.
"Each meet has a purpose on this schedule, so we just have to stick to the plan and make sure we learn from each race." added Eagle.
The NCAA Regional Championships will take place two weeks later (Nov. 21) in Spartanburg, S.C. followed by the NCAA National Championships Festival in Lawrence, Kansas on Friday, December 4.
