ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference Athletic Trainers Committee has selected the Anderson University athletic training staff as the 2025-26 Athletic Training Staff of the Year, the League announced today.
"The athletic trainers in our conference are amazing and work tirelessly on behalf of our nearly 7,000 student-athletes," said SAC Commissioner Patrick Britz. "For Anderson to be selected for this honor by the other athletic training staffs in the SAC is a tremendous honor. Scott DeCiantis and his team consistently go above and beyond to serve the student-athletes at Anderson as well as student-athletes from the visiting teams with a great duty of care. We appreciate the efforts of all of our athletic trainers because we could not do what we do without these spectacular professionals."
Led by Assistant AD/Director of Sports Medicine for Sports Medicine Scott DeCiantis, the Anderson athletic training staff features Athletic Trainers Adam Braunecker, Ryan Whitt, Amy Moser, Lauren Lee, Madison Lane, Meghan Woods, Malissa Tickle and Hannah Reeder. The group provides medical coverage for Anderson's 22 varsity sports.
The award is voted on annually by the South Atlantic Conference Athletic Trainers Committee.
