INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Anderson University Women's Track & Field junior
Kennedy Roush (Greer, S.C.) concludes the 2026 regular season seated No. 10 in the women's 10000m, punching her first ticket to the 2026 NCAA Div. II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Emporia, Kan. Thursday, May 28 through Saturday, May 30.
The Greer native boasted an incredible outdoor season on the track, notching two program records and a national qualifying time in the women's 10000m. At the Bryan Clay Invitational – one of the nation's premier distance-heavy meets – Roush broke Anderson's program record in her respective event by over a minute with a time of 34:24.92 to win her section of the open 10000m. Roush's time placed her at No. 10 in the nation, securing a bid to the National Championships.
Roush will head to Emporia, Kan. to compete amongst an elite field of NCAA Div. II athletes on Thursday, May 29. The race is set to begin at 9:50 p.m. EDT.
