ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University Men's Track & Field freshman Gavin Malloy (Harrisburg, N.C.) has been named the first South Atlantic Conference We Played Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of The Week for the 2026 season as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
 
The Harrisburg native ran a personal best 1:52.02 in the men's 800m at the Charlotte 49er Classic to finish fourth in the field. Malloy now sits first in the South Atlantic Conference for the event.
